It is because Windows 7 uses a MTP driver instead of the USBAAPL.. It works now, It suddenly stopped detecting due to unknown reasons, but try. Connect to pc and restart again, I did this 2 times and it was recognized and its working fine. .. If one has an issue with iPod/iPhone detection on Windows 7.
